What you need before you start
- Be 18 or older. Eldorado's seller rules require it.
- An email address you control. You confirm it during sign-up.
- A valid government photo ID for seller verification, and a phone or webcam for the selfie.
Step 1: Create your Eldorado account
Sign up on Eldorado.gg, verify your email and pick a username. The username is what buyers see on every offer and review, so choose something short and memorable.
Think before using Google, Facebook or Apple to sign up. Eldorado says accounts created that way can't change their password on Eldorado, and the email stays permanently tied to that external account. Changing it later means deleting the Eldorado account and starting again. A plain email sign-up keeps your options open.
Step 2: Apply with Become a Seller
Open the menu under your profile picture in the top-right corner and choose Become a Seller. This starts ID verification. Eldorado reviews the submission and you can sell once it's approved.
Most rejections come from the photos rather than the documents: blur, glare, cropped edges or a selfie taken against a bright window. Our seller verification guide lists the exact photo rules.
Step 3: Read the rules for your category
Eldorado has general seller rules plus separate guidelines for accounts, currency, items, boosting, gift cards and top-ups. Read the ones for what you plan to sell before you list anything. A few that catch new sellers:
- Keep all buyer communication inside Eldorado chat, and don't advertise other sites.
- Use clear titles with no more than two keywords per offer, and no copyrighted game images.
- Don't post duplicate offers or unrealistic prices.
- Account offers must describe exactly what the buyer gets, including any bans or limitations.
Breaking the rules can mean cancelled orders, removed offers or a temporary or permanent suspension, and Eldorado says affected balances can be held for up to 30 days.
Step 4: Create your first offer
Once approved, press Sell, choose the category and game, then set the price, quantity and delivery time. The fields change by game. The description should say exactly what the buyer receives; Eldorado penalises misleading offers.
Set a delivery time you can actually hit. Eldorado tracks how long you really take, and if it's longer than you promised, buyers can pick another seller. Our guide to getting your first sales covers listing choices in more depth.
Step 5: Deliver and get paid
Deliver within the time you set. For orders with a delivery time of an hour or more, Eldorado expects you to message the buyer within 30 minutes. If you're late, the buyer can open a dispute.
Payment is held by TradeShield until the order completes, then lands in your Eldorado balance. You can withdraw after your first successful sale; fees depend on the method, and they're all listed in our fees and withdrawals guide.
